About Aaleen
I'm Aaleen, a second-year Monash University student studying Law and Psychology, and the founder of VCE Mastery. I grew up in Melbourne's north and have spent the last 3 years tutoring students from Prep all the way through to VCE, so I know this community and I know what local students need.
I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy watching students go from confused to confident. Being a part of a child's development and growth is something I find deeply rewarding, and there is nothing quite like seeing a student walk out of a session having ticked off another goal and feeling more sure of themselves than when they walked in. That moment is what keeps me going.
VCE Mastery has grown almost entirely through word of mouth and client referrals, which I think says more than any qualification could. My students and their families stay with me long term because they see real progress, and I put a lot of work into making sure every session is backed by personalized, high-quality resources built specifically for each student.
Outside of tutoring, I'm studying two of the subjects I teach, Law and Psychology, which means I bring real academic depth to Legal Studies and Psychology in particular, not just textbook summaries.
I take my work seriously. Every student gets a structured, personalized approach and I come prepared to every session with materials tailored to exactly where they are in their learning. Parents can expect clear communication, genuine care, and a tutor who is invested in their child's results. I also hold a current Working With Children Check for added peace of mind.

I'm Aaleen, a Monash University Law and Psychology student and founder of VCE Mastery, a tutoring business I've been running for 3 years across Melbourne's north.
I work with students from Prep through to Year 10 in English and Math, and VCE Units 1 to 4 in Legal Studies, Psychology, Business, and Health and Human Development. I also specialize in preparing students for NAPLAN, selective entry exams, and private school scholarship tests, helping them walk in feeling ready and confident.
Whether your child is building foundational skills, sitting an important exam, or chasing a strong ATAR, I tailor every session to where they actually are, not a generic program.
My approach is hands-on and student-led. I don't just explain and move on. I work through problems with students, ask the right questions, and make sure they can do it independently before we finish. Sessions are typically one hour and run online or in person at northern Melbourne libraries or at my home in Roxburgh Park.
Studying Law and Psychology means I genuinely understand how students think and learn, and for VCE subjects like Legal Studies and Psychology, I'm teaching content I study myself.
