About Osama
I'm currently studying postgraduate Master of Mechanical Engineering from Monash University. Mathematics has been my strongest suit ever since grade 5. I studied Additional Mathematics and Further Mathematics in grades 10 and 12 respectively for which I received A* grades. I am also well-versed in uni mathematics especially engineering mathematics ranging from trigonometry to mechanics. The students I have tutored before benefited significantly because of better mathematical foundations, increased focus on repetition, and a firmer grasp of concepts.

At the very start, I gauge the students' level of understanding and move on from there. The learning curve is kept gradual and each new concept builds on top of and links with the previous ones for a more cohesive understanding. Students are given practice sums for each concept to test their level of understanding and are taught more than one way to solve problems so they can think of problems in different ways. This avoids tunnel vision and rote-learning.

Perfect! Osama (Sam) has been a great maths tutor for my son. He has always been on time, communicates very well and most importantly, in just two sessions has already made a great improvement to my son's understanding of his school course work.
