About Ruchika
Being a computer teacher for more than fifteen years, I had always loved teaching students. The ability to share knowledge is a bit like a superpower. So that I can make a real difference in children's lives. I have been always concerned about the feedback from my students. I want my students to gain as much experience as possible and for me it is the finding what works for them. The purpose is to keep students motivated to dig deep into the subject and make them curious to learn more, while they find learning interesting.
Currently, pursuing Masters in Applied Information Technology from Victoria University (Melbourne).

- Pre-primary and primary students: age-appropriate coding

Coding teaches logical thinking and nurtures creativity… creating something that comes to life such as games and animations.
I prefer to teach coding using game-like interface making it fun for kids while they don't even realise they're learning.
I have already taught Coding (programming) to :
*Pre-primary and primary students: age-appropriate coding
*Scratch: Block based coding ( to year 6 and year 7 students)
*Python Turtle (to Year 8 students)
-Scratch: A visual, drag-and-drop coding experience
-Python: Easy-to-read code that is great for beginners
