Kim is an extremely knowledgeable teacher with insights into the frustrations of children. My daughter is has a very extreme kinesthetic learning style with a strong visual component and limited auditory abilities which required intervention. After my daughter's kindergarten teacher, who was getting a masters in Reading, approached me in despair that she couldn't teach my daughter how to read, we approached Kim. As Kim taught my daughter how to read using "kinesthetic techniques", such as unique hand motions and word dissecting techniques, my daughter's progress was incredible. My daughter attended one of the hardest high schools in California and successfully took an AP class requiring lots of reading. She is now happily attending University as a Freshman, majoring in her subject of choice, and during her first set of finals this past winter, she received an A on her exam essay in her English class. Over the years, I have recommended Kim to over 20 families who call me as a follow up to tell them that Kim has changed their lives.
