About Timur

At first I assess the knowledge of Russian that you already possess. Then I would like to know your goals of learning Russian, and based on that we can decide what type of methodology would work the best for you. Based on your interests we can choose how to study Russian. I would like to divide our classes in three portions: grammar-theory, practice-exercises, cultural-artistic learning. However, we will keep it organic and evolving based on your needs, feedback, and interests. What I see at the core of language learning process is discipline and practice.

Perfect! I have no had multiple classes with Timur and will be continuing to study with him as I work on my Russian language skills. Timur takes a very thoughtful and individualized approach to teaching which I appreciate given that I came to him with an understanding of the basics in the language. He quickly gauged my skill level and tailors classes to match my interests and the parts of language I need to work on. He provides thoughtful feedback and is able to come across as a friend as much as he is a tutor.
