About Maxi
Hi there, I'm Maxi. I’m a 16 year old dedicated A Level student currently studying Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology and Core Maths. Having recently completed my GCSEs with very strong results, I understand exactly what it’s like to prepare for exams and how stressful it can feel. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and approachable. I break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps, and focus on helping students truly understand the material — not just memorise it, which is the key to exam success. I’m patient, organised, and always happy to explain things as many times as needed. I offer tutoring for GCSE and younger students, especially in Science subjects where I excel, and I adapt each lesson to suit the student’s learning style. Whether you’re struggling with tricky topics or just want to boost your grades, I’m here to help you feel more confident and capable.

As a current A Level student studying Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, I understand how challenging GCSEs can feel — because I’ve been through them recently myself. This helps me explain topics clearly and in ways that actually make sense to students. My tutoring style is friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence, improving understanding, and developing effective exam and revision techniques. I like to make lessons interactive — using practice questions, diagrams, and real examples to keep things engaging. I know exactly what works and what not to bother with, as I have recently used these strategies and am about to use them in my two years of studying A Levels. Lessons usually last one hour, but I can adjust depending on what works best for the student. I mainly teach GCSE students or younger students preparing for their Science subjects. Although I’m not a qualified teacher, I achieved pretty strong GCSE results and am passionate about helping others succeed in their exams. I aim to make my lessons enjoyable, encouraging students to ask questions and learn at their own pace. I am able to tutor for: Science (combined or triple) Computer science Geography Physical Education (GCSE not Btec) And maybe maths
