Hi, I'm Kellyn! My lessons are for medical and pre-med students who want to truly understand biochemistry and STEM, not just memorize them the night before an exam.
My teaching method
I teach from first principles. Before we touch a pathway or a drug class, I make sure you understand the "why" behind it, because concepts you understand are far easier to recall under pressure than facts you've crammed. I use clinical cases to anchor each topic, simple diagrams to map out pathways and mechanisms, and active recall so you explain ideas back to me in your own words. We finish each topic with USMLE-style questions, and I walk you through the reasoning behind every answer choice, including the wrong ones.

Kellyn has a natural talent for bringing real-world experiences into her teaching. That's something that's becoming rare, and she does it so naturally, anchoring the core knowledge to everyday actions. This has allowed me to not only excel but remember the material she teaches. She is patient and works at your pace while also pushing you just enough to be better each time. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for help with Biochemistry.
Awesome tutor who helps a lot with biochemistry helped me boost my confidence, and their fun approach and positive attitude make every lesson enjoyable.
