About Miles
A recent graduate from Oxford, I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I attended a charter school throughout middle and high school, the final two years of which I completed the International Baccalaureate program and earned the IB diploma in the process. After that, I attended the University of New Mexico where I earned two bachelor's degrees, one with a major in religious studies, and another with a major in philosophy and a minor in mathematics, graduating summa cum laude for both degrees. After taking a year off, I was accepted to the University of Oxford where I earned an MPhil degree in philosophical theology, graduating with distinction.

I have formally tutored students at Kumon Math and Reading in New Mexico, U.S.A. Informally, I tutored my cousins through mathematics courses, philosophy, and English at the middle and high school level. Since moving to Oxford, I have worked with various students in GCSE English Language and Literature, and GCSE Mathematics, as well as working with Your Dream School to assist students applying to undergraduate and graduate courses in philosophy, theology, English, and other degrees. I have a very flexible tutoring methodology. If all you're looking for is exam prep, I work perfectly well going through practice exams with students until they've mastered the relevant content. If you're looking for a more holistic tutoring experience, I can also gear lessons in that direction (e.g., we read through an entire book and analyze it if the area of concentration is English or go through calculus with a textbook if the area is mathematics, and so on).
