About Abby
I am an MPhil Public History & Cultural Heritage student at Trinity College Dublin researching LGBTQ+ History in Ireland. I have a BA (Hons) in History from the University of York (UK), where I produced an undergraduate dissertation on the Irish suffragette movement in the 1910s. I am offering tutoring on a range of history topics for all levels.
I also have a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification which prepared me for teaching in front of a classroom, and has given me much knowledge on the fundamentals of teaching and lesson planning. I am now able to tailor each lesson to each student in a way which will best engage them.

I base my teaching on the needs of each individual student. Before we begin teaching, I will establish the topics which the student wishes to be taught and to what level, as well as asking them how they learn best so as to tailor each lesson plan to suit them.
