About Rebecca
I am currently a PhD Reseracher at the University of Manchester. I earned my MSc in Biology, during which I taught an Intro to Biology course (20-30 university students) for 3 years. I also have experience tutoring individual students since 2014. I've tutored in a variety of STEM subjects; biology, marine science, algebra, pre-calculus, statistics, and test prep (SAT, ACT, GRE).

I have taught university students and tutored students ranging from high school students to professionals returning to school. All of my students have commented that my positive and friendly attitude makes asking questions easy. I always alter the pace of materials to fit each student's need and I've been told that I explain material in an easy-to-understand way for students who may have no previous experience with the material. I like working through material in a very interactive manner; I do not just sit and lecture endlessly to students. Rather, I always let students determine what they need most help on and keep lessons dynamic and interesting to aid in learning and retention.
