About Unique
I am a friendly and patient maths tutor with a strong academic background in mathematics, logic, and problem-solving. I enjoy helping students understand maths in a simple and comfortable way by breaking difficult topics into clear steps and using practical examples.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering and am currently pursuing my MSc in Computing Science at University College Cork, where I am currently performing at First Class Honours / 1.1 level. My academic and professional background has given me a strong foundation in logical thinking, problem-solving, and explaining complex ideas clearly.
During my Bachelor’s degree, I taught several academic bootcamps to over 200 students, helping learners build confidence in technical and problem-solving subjects. I also worked as a Data Structures and Algorithms instructor/teaching assistant with Coding Ninjas, where I helped students develop structured thinking and problem-solving skills.
I have also been informally tutoring my younger brother in maths for almost a decade, which helped me develop a fun, patient, and age-friendly teaching style. I am an upcoming Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, which reflects my strong foundation in logic, maths, and real-world problem-solving.
My goal as a tutor is to help students stop fearing maths, ask questions freely, and properly understand topics instead of only memorising formulas.

My maths lessons focus on clear understanding, step-by-step explanations, and confidence building. I teach topics in a simple way, starting from the basics and gradually moving towards exam-style questions and independent problem-solving.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes. I usually begin by checking what the student already understands, then explain the concept clearly, solve examples together, and finally give practice questions to make sure the topic is understood properly. I focus on the “why” behind each method so students are not just memorising formulas.
I can help with arithmetic, algebra, equations, functions, geometry, trigonometry, word problems, logical reasoning, and exam preparation. My lessons are suitable for primary school students, Junior Cycle students, Transition Year students, and beginners who want to improve their maths confidence.
I try to keep lessons friendly, practical, and interactive so students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
