About Rebecca
I recently completed my MSc in Biology, before which I got an Hons BSc in Marine Science. I have 3 years experience teaching a university Biology laboratory course and I've been tutoring privately since 2014. Most of my private maths tuition has been in pre-calculus, statistics, trigonometry, and algebra. I have helped many students prepare for the maths sections of various exams. I personally took many AP and IB classes in high school, so am well positioned to help students in those courses.

My tutored students range from high school students to university level. All of my students have commented that my positive and friendly attitude makes asking questions easy. I always alter the pace of materials to fit each student's need and I've been told that I explain things in an easy-to-understand way for students who may have no previous experience with the material. I like working with students in a very interactive manner; I do not just sit and lecture endlessly. Rather, I always let students determine what they need most help on and keep lessons dynamic and interesting to aid in learning and retention.
