About Afam
Primarily driven by quest for innovation, I am open to learning the latest innovations in programming and NLP(AI) such as Large Language Models (LLM). I can teach not just how to program using traditional programming languages such as Java, JavaScript and Python, but, in addition, I can teach cutting-edge technologies such as LLMs, for instance ChatGPT, and optimisation techniques such as Prompt Engineering, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Database, among others.

Using remote tools such as Microsoft Teams, I usually teach for 40-50 minutes and give students 10 minutes break for a typical two-hour session. I use online whiteboard when necessary. My primary students are high school graduates, undergraduates and working professionals. I believe in hands-on and practice-based teaching. As a result, my students must complete around 3-5 projects before the lesson ends. I have an MSc in Data Science with lots of portfolio projects in Kaggle, Google Colab, GitHub, Streamlit platforms among others. Moreover, I am experienced full stack (backend heavy) Software Developer, with at least 5 years’ experience. I have successfully deployed smart ID cards, telecom VAS, ERP solutions among others.
