Hello! I’m N. Umaa Malani, a Molecular Biotechnology Master’s graduate from Universiti Putra Malaysia (CGPA 4.00). With a strong foundation in genomics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics, I bring real research experience to my tutoring — not just textbook knowledge. My tutoring approach focuses on making Science easy to understand through simple explanations, visual examples, and step-by-step guidance. I use a combination of diagrams, real-life applications, practice questions, and continuous feedback to help students truly understand the concepts rather than memorize them. I always adapt my teaching style to match each student’s pace, strengths, and learning preferences so they can learn comfortably and confidently.
A typical lesson lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s needs. Each class begins with a short recap, followed by clear explanations of new topics, and ends with guided exercises or quizzes to reinforce learning.
I hold a Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology (CGPA 4.00) from Universiti Putra Malaysia and have experience teaching and guiding students in Science, Biology, and university-level biotechnology subjects. My background as a research assistant in genomics and bioinformatics also allows me to explain scientific concepts in a practical and engaging way.
My lessons are suitable for primary school students (Science and Maths), secondary school students (Science and Biology), and university students studying Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, or Molecular Biology. I also welcome adult learners who want to strengthen their scientific knowledge or learn the basics of biotechnology and genomics.
My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where every student feels motivated, confident, and capable of achieving excellent results.
