About Harshith
Here's a draft for the "Good to know" section:
I hold an MSc in Physics from JSS College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Mysuru, where I also worked on research involving nanocomposite materials — gaining hands-on experience with techniques like XRD, SEM, and UV-Vis spectroscopy under faculty guidance. This research background means I don't just teach from textbooks; I bring a genuine, applied understanding of how physics concepts work in the real world.
I believe teaching is about building confidence as much as building knowledge. Many students struggle with Physics and Math not because the subjects are hard, but because concepts are taught in isolation without context. My goal is to change that — breaking down complex ideas into intuitive, logical steps so students actually understand the "why," not just memorize formulas for exams.
For online classes, I use a digital graphics tablet to write, solve, and explain problems live, keeping the experience close to a real classroom rather than a static video call.
I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely invested in each student's progress. Whether it's clearing board exam fundamentals or building a strong base for competitive entrance exams, I tailor my teaching to how each student learns best — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
I look forward to helping you or your child build not just marks, but a real, lasting understanding of Physics and Mathematics.

My approach to teaching is rooted in building strong conceptual foundations rather than encouraging rote memorization. As someone who has worked on actual physics research — synthesizing and characterizing nanocomposite materials using techniques like XRD, SEM, and UV-Vis spectroscopy — I try to connect textbook concepts to how physics actually works in practice, so students understand the "why" behind formulas, not just how to apply them.
Teaching techniques and methods
I use a problem-solving-first approach: introducing a concept, working through solved examples together, then having the student attempt similar problems independently while I guide them through mistakes in real time. I rely heavily on real-world analogies and simple diagrams to make abstract topics (mechanics, electromagnetism, calculus, algebra) more intuitive. For online classes, I use a digital graphics tablet to write equations and draw diagrams live, just like a physical whiteboard, so explanations stay natural and interactive. I also encourage students to ask "what if" questions to build genuine curiosity rather than exam-driven learning alone.
Structure of a class
A typical session starts with a quick recap of the previous topic, followed by introducing new concepts with examples, guided practice problems, and then independent problem-solving with feedback. Towards the end, I summarize key takeaways and assign focused practice for the next session, so learning compounds over time instead of feeling scattered.
What sets me apart
Beyond my MSc in Physics, my research background means I can bring practical, applied context to otherwise theoretical topics — something not many tutors at this level offer. I also use a digital graphics tablet for live problem-solving and diagram explanations, making online sessions feel closer to an in-person classroom experience. I'm also currently building skills in data analysis and data science, so for students interested in the intersection of physics, mathematics, and technology, I can offer a broader perspective on where these subjects lead.
Who my classes are for
I teach students at the school level (primary and secondary) and pre-university (PU) level in Physics and Mathematics, helping them build strong fundamentals for board exams as well as competitive entrance exams.
