About Milan
My name is Milan, and I am a 27-year-old second-year MSc student in Structural Engineering at the University of Alberta. I work under the guidance of one of the foremost experts in the timber engineering industry. So far, I have been a teaching assistant for two courses at the University of Alberta:
Introduction to Continuum Mechanics
Structural Design III
My research focuses on the design of timber structures. I have also taken a course at UofA on Timber Design and am primarily familiar with Canadian timber design standards (CSA O86). Additionally, I possess knowledge of designing timber structures based on European standards (EC5).
