About Skyy
I am a 1st Class MSci Biochemist and an active researcher in the field of Structural Biology. While my daily work involves investigating cancer drug targets, I have always found a deep passion in science communication. Allowing me to share my love in science with others.
I love diving into the "nitty-gritty" of a subject and finding inspiration in the details. In my own research, I’ve found that a cushioned, deep-seated understanding is what allows for true excellence in one’s speciality.
I chose to tutor because I’ve seen first-hand how the right mentorship can transform a student’s trajectory. Whether you are working toward a GCSE or a Degree project. My goal is to turn intimidating topics into common sense so you can approach your exams with total confidence.

Exam Methodology:
Locating the Gaps: It’s okay not to be 100% sure on everything; we will locate and tackle these areas head-on. You can’t always learn everything, so we work together to target the most pressing and highest-value areas first.
Squeezing Every Mark: We break big questions down into their fundamental parts, solve them, and build the answer back up. We learn to write answers quickly and effectively by locating exactly where the marks are hidden.
Exam Technique: Theory is essential, but the highest grades are won through technique. Once you understand how to decode a mark scheme, you can apply that logic across all your subjects. I prioritise this early on—it is the most effective way to turn knowledge into results.

Levels: Biology (KS3 to Degree), Chemistry (up to A-Level), Combined Science & Maths (GCSE).
Specialism: Expertise in Biology dissertations and degree-standard assignments.
Resources: Happy to provide study resources, set homework, and tutor all major exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel).

First free 45 minute session for us to get to know each other and set out some plans.
Travel times under 30 minutes free and under 1 hour are £5.
I do not drive so if the location is only accessible by train the cost of a train ticket will be included on top of any costs for the length of travel.
