About Hayley
I've recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a First class degree in Natural Sciences. Throughout my time at Uni I developed a strong understanding of many topics within Physics, Chemistry, and Maths; hence I have a solid foundation to provide support for my students.
As well as a strong aptitude for my subject, I am an approachable, chatty person. This, along with my good communication skills, mean my students will look forward to lessons and talk to me more about anything they find challenging.

My teaching style is centred on going through problems together on topics the student is finding challenging.
In my experience, one will gain a solid understanding in Science and Maths through practice, rather than note based learning. Therefore, prior to my lessons I will ask the student what topics they are not 100% grasping and get them to do some questions. Then during the lesson, we will walk through the solution together, highlighting where the student’s weaknesses are and building the lesson content from there.
This student led approach means the student can tailor their learning experience and get a maximum value for money.
