Christian was my Spanish teacher for over 4 months, and I chose him after trying many other teachers and realizing that he was the best that I could find. I highly recommend Christian. He understands how to connect the language to the way that you'd like to use it and does not just teach "textbook" Spanish. As a result, his lessons are always fun and engaging. As an english speaker himself, he also has the hacks to help with the difficult transition between english and Spanish ways of using language. Christian has been fundamental in my language journey, and in giving me the confidence to spend a lot of time in Colombia and travel Latin America.

I traveled to Colombia to learn Spanish and took many lessons with Cristian. He has an incredible way of explaining things that make it easy to understand the language and Spanish structure in general. When I returned to the US, I continued with virtual classes. I studied Spanish off and on for years taking clases, using language learning apps, and listening to other courses while commuting. Despite these efforts I felt stuck at a low level.

This all changed three years ago when I was introduced to Cristian. He has lead me on my language learning journey since 2022, and in that time I feel like my ability to speak and understand Spanish has improved exponentially. Cristian is a master at explaining all of the various forms of grammar, the tenses, and the moods in a way that is easy to understand and fun!

Cristian follows a logical progression in his teaching but is also extremely flexible, and he’s been great at taking the time I need to feel comfortable with the topics before moving on to others.

While Cristian is an excellent teacher of the mechanics of Spanish, some of my most enjoyable times are when we simply talk about current events and other things that we find interesting or important. There is no substitute for spending time just conversing with a native speaker and Cristian is always willing to spend time doing so.
