About Revi

I am a multi-award-winning economist with five formal teaching awards from the London School of Economics—two from the Economics Department, two from the Management Department, and one student-led teaching excellence award for innovative teaching. I am also the recipient of the prestigious John M. Gunn Scholarship, awarded to a single student each year for academic excellence. Across my 20-year teaching and tutoring career, I have completed more than 12,000 hours of personalised instruction.

I served for a decade at the LSE, held a stipendiary lecturer position in economics at Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford, and led multiple courses at Sciences Po. I have also participated in admissions selection at the University of Oxford (PPE, E&M, E&H) and the Columbia–Sciences Po Dual BA, giving me unique insight into what elite institutions expect from their applicants. My aim as an educator is to make advanced material accessible and engaging. I work closely with students to build confidence, sharpen intuition, and achieve meaningful academic progress.

My lessons provide rigorous, intuitive, and results-driven teaching across Economics, Econometrics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and optional third year modules. With over 20 years of combined teaching experience at the London School of Economics, the University of Oxford, and Sciences Po, I specialise in breaking down complex ideas into clear, memorable insights that help students excel. In every tutorial, I do not lose sight of the main goal: help the tutee achieve a better exam result.

I adapt each session to the student’s goals whether it is improving exam grades, building strong foundational understanding, preparing for competitive applications, or mastering graduate-level content. My teaching style combines clarity, “big picture” intuition, active questioning, and real-world examples and lots of targeted past papers. This ensures students not only learn the material but understand why and how it works.
