About Coty
I am an instructor in the physical arts.
I began my journey 15 yrs ago as a dancer simply looking to increase my physicality. Since then I have been studying, practitioning, training, and teaching in performance, competition, and healing physical arts.
I have been teaching multiple forms of dance for 10 years, gymnastics, swimming, and personal training for 7 yrs, yoga and acro yoga for 5 yrs, and circus arts for 3 yrs. In each field I learn something new about the human body, the art, and myself! It is this multiform training perspective that gives me great insight into the human condition. It is my mission to teach yoga classes using a physically universal perspective and help you to reach your goals of increased functionality, recovery, or simply learning more about yoga!

I offer multiple forms of yoga classes geared toward either functionality, recovery, or a deeper understanding of yoga and alignment.
Iyengar based alignment:
Using the principles of Iyengar to enhance alignment, creating strength, flexibility, and healing in the body.
Functional yoga flow:
A progressive flow to increase functionality for athletes. Develop tone, strength, agility, flexibility, and mind body connection.
Yogaidic healing:
Using pranayama, meditation, asanas and vedic, thai and acro therapeutics to heal and recover the body and mind.
Acro Yoga:
Partner Yoga, Schedule alone or with a partner.
