About Melker
Hey! I'm Melker, a Swedish London-based musician with a love for all things music. From touring with Buddy Holly and The Cricketers to gigging and working in the studio for original and various function bands, as well as lending my skills as a session musician, I have highly diverse musical experiences. With proficiency in bass, guitar, saxophone, drums, and vocals, I'm here to make music accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Growing up on the timeless tunes of 60s and 70s rock, courtesy of my teacher-parents, I've been steeped in music since childhood. I also work with writing and producing both music and theatre, adding another layer of creativity to my repertoire.

As a music teacher with over five years of experience, I bring a unique perspective to the table. Being a touring musician means I'm actively engaged in the professional music scene, constantly honing my craft. Both in the theatre, function and original music industries. Whether you prefer tabs, sheet music, or learning by ear, I adapt to your needs. My goal is to make learning fun and fulfilling by tailoring lessons to your interests and teaching what you want to learn. Lessons are around 1h. I have a BA Hons in Actor Musicianship from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

I have been taking lessons with Melker in both guitar and drums and his ability to play a range of instruments truly make lessons more captivating and rewarding.
