About Yiwen
Hello, fellow art lovers!
My name is Yiwen and it is such a pleasure to meet you on this platform! Although my creative endeavor initially began as a traditional painter and sculptor, my persisting aim to venture outside my comfort zone and broaden my knowledge base encouraged me to experiment with various digital media and design work. I think it is crucial to explore unfamiliar subjects and keep up with the ever-changing landscape of modern art/design, especially as digital media becomes increasingly relevant in the current fields of art and design.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my three cats, baking/cooking for loved ones, and singing (I am an amateur opera singer).

I have a laid-back teaching style and offer lessons to both adult and younger students. Rather than simply demonstrating the creative processes in a step-by-step fashion, I strive to help my students develop their artistic skills through various hands-on projects based on their personal interests and goals. My multimedia background further allows me to curate individualized lesson plans to help you realize your potentials.
I believe passion is the key to continuous artistic pursuits, so it is my mission to evoke your innate creativity.
