About Franco Nicolás

I'm Franco, guitarist and music producer, I also know how to play the piano and I have a good knowledge of music theory. I started studying music at the age of 9 at the Félix T. Garzón Conservatory of the City of Arts (Córdoba), from where I received my degree as a guitar player in 2018, at the age of 19.
I am currently studying Composition at La Colmena (Córdoba). I have also given many concerts in the last 5 years: as a soloist, member of bands, choirs, and on one occasion with the Conservatory's Guitar Orchestra, and I will also accompany other artists such as Paz Carrara, with whom I also recorded two songs for her first disk. I am currently in an electronic music project with Cufaxx, and we hope to release material early to mid next year. I also did several courses and Masterclasses on composition and interpretation throughout these years.
I have also been a private teacher for 3 years, having taught piano, guitar, composition, production and mixing, musical grammar, harmony and audio perception.

My classes are aimed at people who already have a medium level of studies, and also those who are just starting out. The contents will depend on what each one wants to learn, but I like to divide it into three parts: Theory and technique, Studies and Works (we are going to look for studies and works in which we can work on what we have learned in the Theory phase and technique).
When teaching, I try to convey the content with a technical language, but I always try to keep the ideas simple and appropriate to the level of the student, so that they can understand things as clearly as possible. After having a couple of classes with a new student, I always put together a program based on what each one is looking for, but I prefer to give it flexibility and prioritize the doubts and questions that the student brings me to class.
Also, Depending on the objectives of each one, we are going to stop the technical part more, or simply see the essentials and go faster to the works, but in any case it is important that the 3 phases are in order to achieve a good result and a good understanding of the content.
The genres that I manage best are rock (national and international), classical music and electronic music.
