About Daniel
I am a beginner to giving private lessons. However, I have previously musically directed Musical Theatre and Pit Band students both 1 to 1 and as an ensemble on multiple occasions. During my time Musical Directing, the performers were really able to develop their musical intuition under my guidance.
I have been studying Classical music for 11 years, with the addition of Pop and Jazz and Musical theatre over the past 6 years.
I have experience writing with various songwriters for Streaming Services, I have also written music for Musical Theatre Performers and Musicians and I have experience writing and workshopping music with Classical Musicians.

I am a Music Student, studying Jazz and Classical Composition at Leeds Conservatoire (Leeds College of Music). I have a diverse musical background, experienced in Writing and Performing, Classical, Jazz, Pop and Musical Theatre.
I teach lessons, based on the students needs, ensuring that I develop their skill in the direction that will help them achieve their personal goals. For example, A classical student would be more suited looking at the ABRSM music theory grades, where as a pop student, may require a more contemporary approach that commonly draws from a lot of jazz theory, especially in styles such as R&B. We will not only look at the theory, but put it into practice, ensuring that the student understands its function with in the music they wish to write.
I believe that it is important adapt the pace of the lesson to the student, but also to push them, so that they feel they are developing at a fast pace, which I know is possible with every student!
