About Mathu
I have been a Tuba player since 6th grade. I'm currently a sophomore music education major with a concentration in tuba at Central Connecticut State University. I was Participant in solo and ensemble music festivals back in Florida and Texas. I was also a member of Connecticut's Northern Region Band in 2018.

I usually employ an imitation technique which allows for my student to watch and listen as a I play a section then try to match my style of playing it. If the student isn't able to imitate me I will run through the section with them pointing out the flaw and aiding in their fixture.
