About Vilma
I am a graduated student from U of T, faulty of Music. My first teaching lessons started since he first year I came to university. I had students with various of ages, (5 to 60 years old), and all of them were passionate about music and learning, exploring new things. All of my students were taught by using my own teaching method and philosophy as the core framework, plus using Suzuki textbook. Besides, I started my ear training and rhythm at 8 years old, which well-facilitated my ear sensitivity and perfect pitch.

I believe that daily practice needs 60% of critical thinking, 30% of repetitive hardworking, and 10% of musical talents. Thus, learning music is not just learning an instrument; on the contrary, it is an intangible way to learn how to LEARN things.
My methodology is : start with open string, with a pure, clean, and smooth sound quality. Because steady foundation is core factor, which is your music perception, learning attitude. If these foundation is well-equipped, then anything is not a big deal for you.
