About Brian
As well as being a very experienced teacher, I'm a very experienced musician, producer and composer. I have toured Europe and the USA extensively with a number of Irish alternative and electronic acts (Meltybrains?, Talos), have recorded with many notable artists (Kingfishr, Anna B Savage) and have produced records for several musicians (Loah, Brídín). I have also written music for TV and film, included scores for ITV and Blip Publishing House. I also do a lot of work for theatre and dance and have written and performed with shows for a number of notable artists, in a range of different disciplines, including choreographers such as Emma Martin, writers such as Emmet Kirwan and aerial artists such as Kate Dunne.

I have an extensive range of teaching experience, as both a private music theory and lecturer with Technical University Dublin and have a range of lesson plans and approaches to match students at every level. I also have a BA in Music and an MA in Music Technology. I offer 30 or 60 minute lessons in piano, keyboard skills, music theory and music production, with a specific focus on the DAW Ableton Live. In the past, I have taught people at all ages and experience levels, from people who've never played an instrument before to professional musicians looking to upskill in a particular area.
