About Elie

A university graduate in musicology, composer and pianist, I am passionate about music and specialize in European classical music ranging from the Middle Ages to the 21st century, including the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern and Contemporary periods.
My studies at university, at the conservatory and with private teachers have given me knowledge and understanding of music theory and classical musical writing.
They also gave me an understanding of the various musical movements of the 20th century, which I can help you understand and analyze if you are interested.

Elie used to be one my classmates during the musicology licence program in Paris 8 university.
As one of the best students with great knowledge in analysis, harmony and polyphony, he always helped not only me, but many of the classmates who had issues in these certain subjects.
He has a great way of explaining complex subjects in a simple manner to facilitate understanding.
On a more personal level, Elie is one of the most enthusiastic people that I have seen in the field and as per experience I’m sure he’ll make an amazing teacher.
