About Toni
I am a musician and educator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I have been teaching for around 10 years and performing for even longer. My current area of expertise is in Scottish and Irish folk music but I also have extensive experience in classical music, rock and jazz. In my time working in the music industry I have performed as a guitarist, a singer, a conductor and a composer and graduated with first class honours and the class medal from Edinburgh Napier University

I have been teaching guitar, voice and music theory for 10 years. I believe in a highly individualised approach where I approach each student's needs and abilities holistically and encourage and support natural musical development. While I have and can teach to specific curriculums if the student so wishes (e.g. ABRSM or Trinity) I generally prefer to allow the student to navigate their own path through learning and discover what it is about music that motivates them.
Lessons are offered at both half an hour and full hour lessons and are for all ages and experiences. I have had extensive experience in schools teaching children and working with adults. I have taught complete beginners and advanced students and I have worked with students of a variety of backgrounds and support needs

Toni has been working on my vocals with me for the past 3 years and I have noticed a big confidence boost and an expansion of my range!
