About Gabriel Hidalgo Garduño
With 35 years of experience in teaching, in all contemporary styles, jazz, blues, rock and commercial music. Personalized attention from a student and groups of up to 25 people. At the end of the courses, a diploma is awarded. The basic course, with a duration of 24 months, is handled. Intermediate with duration of eight quarters and Advanced with duration of two semesters. The academic load may be hourly per week, four hours a week and up to 8 hours (two days of 4 hours each day). With the subjects of musicianship, melody through ear training, rhythmic and modern harmony. You can follow each course at the student's own pace, as you assimilate the content.

All courses require a lined notebook, pen, a keyboard and your own instrument. The tonal relations that are the foundations of modern jazz, rock and commercial music are organized. It covers concepts such as chord substitution in major and minor tonalities, pivot chords and analysis technique for any composition within momentary major and minor tonal centers. This method trains the musician to develop an "ear" that learns how to let his sight lead him. We teach a self-taught methodology to quickly master basic music theory. It follows the method of simplified musical theory, oriented to the styles of contemporary music, Jazz, blues, rock, & commercial music. The Dick Grove School Without Walls method is followed. Classes are handled at all levels, at any age, for children and adults, the basic idea is to teach the student to learn to hear and from there develop their musical ability with exercises and auditory training.
