About Anne-Sophie
I have worked in consulting for over 15 years and took a leave of absence to help my youngest daughter navigate her GCSEs and compensate for the lack of support she was getting from her school.
I realised that academic success is only down to your revision process and the resources you can get hold of vs. your intellectual capability. This applies not just to French but to all other subjects. It's really HOW you learn that matters rather than an innate talent or intelligence.
A major challenge for students in languages is just the limited opportunity offered by their teachers to practice and improve their writing, reading, listening and of course speaking skills. Learning vocabulary lists, which are often unecessary long, inevitably become tedious and counter-productive. I can help you focus your time on what really matters to excel in the exam.

I fully understand the exam specifications of various exam boards (AQA, Edexcel iGCSE and A level) and I have been able to structure a revision process that is both effective and quick.
I have identified the resources that are helpful to master grammar and conjugation without overly complexifying these topics. French grammar can be daunting and for some students overwhelming. I've seen many teachers unable to cut through the complexity leading their students to disengage with the language.
Securing a grade 8/9 is within anyone reach even in a time constrained environment like Year 10, 11, 12 or 13.
