About Ciara
As i mentioned before I am in my fourth year of medical school. I enjoy teaching thoroughly and Maths was one of my favourite subjects in school. I enjoy seeing my students achieve their goals and reach their full potential. Some kids just need some one-on-one time to fully absorb what they're learning, and this is something that isn't always possible in a big class in school!

For the last 2 years, lessons typically take place over zoom for 1-2hrs. Typically organise lessons on a weekly basis as my college schedule varies from one week to the next. Zoom lessons have been working quite well as I own an ipad, so the student can see me writing on the whiteboard feature in Zoom in real time. In the first session, I usually have a discussion with the student about their goals, their areas of weakness and their stronger areas, and use this to formulate a plan. I have made excellent resources over the years which I will use with my students.

Details
Typically I based my rates off of the year of the student and whether I am commuting or teaching online. I also charge more than some tutors given my years of experience and the volume of resources I have, and the effort I put into them. I typically charge €30 for an in-person LC grind (more if its a v significant commute). €25 for virtual LC grind/in-person JC grind. €20 for online JC grind. I rely on public transport since I do not own a car, so my ability to travel is limited to some areas.
