About Duaa
My name is Duaa, a 15-year-old student who loves playing volleyball, reading, and painting. I enjoy learning new things and have a passion for teaching others math. I used to struggle with it a lot, but I had a teacher who made learning fun and helped me actually enjoy it. Because of that guidance, I worked hard and became Dux of my cohort throughout my years of high school. Now, I want to help other students discover that same confidence and love for math, no matter where they’re starting from.

I believe that learning math doesn’t have to be stressful or boring. My approach is friendly, patient, and focused on understanding, not just memorizing math formulas. I take the time to break down concepts into simple, clear steps so that students can follow along at their own pace. I encourage students to ask questions if they don't understand a specific topic, as I want to make sure that they have a strong understanding and are comfortable asking questions no matter how small they might seem. I used to struggle immensely in math and having a teacher that supported me and helped me understand and enjoy math, changed my view. I want to believe that for someone else and show them that all it takes is a little bit of time and effort. Every student is different, so I tailor my lessons to fit their individual needs, learning style, and pace. I offer one-on-one online math tutoring that’s relaxed and easy to follow. Each lesson reviews past work, explains new concepts step by step, and works through problems together. I make sure there’s time for questions so students feel confident. $25 per hour. A fair rate for fun, personalized tutoring that helps you improve and feel proud of your progress.
