About Mariyam
For my GCSEs, I achieved a Grade 9 (A**) in Physics (early sitting) and a Grade 7 (A) in Biology and Chemistry. I sat my Biology and Chemistry GCSEs exams early and have helped other students sit their exams early. In my A-Levels, I achieved an A in Biology and Chemistry. I am up to date with the current GCSE and A-Level specifications.
I study Pharmacology at Kings College London. I am currently in Year 1 of my programme and enjoy learning about aspects of molecular biology and biochemistry (continued from my A-Level studies), which many students in A-Levels and GCSEs struggle to grasp. I have also done a summer internship with Pfizer, learning about therapies and can help many students pursue a career in the science/healthcare setting.

I have worked in different academies, tuition centres and as a private tutor. Having taught Sciences at all levels in an academy has provided me with an appreciation of teaching and helping students achieve their best possible grades. I have worked with students studying for their SATS, 11+, Years 7-9, GCSEs and A-Levels. I have helped several students achieve the grades they desired, with the majority achieving Grades 7, 8 and 9.
After working with children of all ages, I can provide support and the understanding behind hard topics, whether to improve overall performance or using lessons productively to prepare for end of year tests.
I have a variety of resources that I have made and collected throughout my time studying for my exams, which I am able to share with students that I teach
