About Nadia
I understand finding the right tutor is important for each individual child. I have taken many child development classes and have learned how to help students cognitively in each different learning stage. I have completed all levels of mathematics and have had a lot of hands-on work with tutoring both my peers as well as younger children. I have been nannying for the last 2 years and know how to keep professional boundaries with children and pick up on cues for what children do and don't understand.

I have a very hands-on approach when it comes to tutoring. I was a peer tutor for math in high school as well as being certified to teach early childhood education my junior year. I understand all children learn in different ways and I change my approach for tutoring depending on the child. I understand that technology is very present in current day learning, which sometimes allows for children to get the answer without fully understanding the topic, and my approach ensures that children understanding how they got the answer is more important than the answer itself.
