About Shakira
I am a current full-time university student who has a passion for helping people and fostering a love for the arts. I have past experience with contemporary dance, and sat exams in this genre. In the last 5 years I have branched out and worked on numerous musical theater shows at my local community theater. I believe that there's a lot more to choreography than just the dance moves.

I've choreographed numerous musical theatre productions working with both kids and adults and have honed skills in adjusting and choreographing to all age and skill levels. I teach about story telling, effective techniques, formations, and different teaching styles for different age and skill levels. Lessons are typically an hour, and open to those wanting to learn how to choreograph.
