About Sagnik
Hey fellow artists, my name is Sagnik Roy and i come from an itsy bitsy town of West Bengal, Suri. If you google my city you'll find out how remote and backwards the place is in comparison to most of the other places in India. So if you're thinking that you cannot achieve that great goal of yours because you're from a small town, think again for I know for a fact, that is a hurdle created in our own little head by our inner saboteurs. Sure, there's no denying that there are less opportunities, to indulge into creative workplaces, than in bigger cities but hey, learning doesn't have to be acquired in bigger spaces. Today we all have something called the internet right in our hands which, if used to it's full potential, can be of major help while learning creative processes.
I ,myself, learnt most of what I know via the web and that did not stop me from winning a national award at the DVC national painting competition for energy conservation. Whatever I've learnt through the 21years of my life, i want to teach you so you can grow and achieve the goals you want. We'll draw, make mistakes along the way and will learn how to correct those and avoid making the same ones in the future. Let's go on this venture together, shall we!
