About Yujia
Hello, my name is Yujia, you can always call me Phoebe. I am a dedicated and patient Chinese tutor with a strong academic background and solid teaching experience. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. I have 2.5 years of experience teaching Chinese at the high school level, where I specialized in helping students improve their speaking, grammar, and writing skills. My teaching is student-centered: I design lessons based on your personal goals, whether you are learning Chinese for daily communication, academic purposes, or exam preparation. In my classes, I use a communicative and immersive approach to create real-life language environments that make learning both effective and engaging. Lessons typically last 40–60 minutes, and I adjust the pace and methods to suit each learner’s level and needs. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. I also have 2.5 years of experience teaching Chinese at the high school level. My strengths lie in teaching speaking, grammar, and writing.
I am comfortable working with learners of all ages and levels, and I can provide instruction tailored both to daily conversational Chinese and exam-oriented Chinese.
