About Jasna
My professional background is in Plant Science research, which I currently study as an NSF fellow pursuing a Ph.D. However, I received a B.A. in Spanish and a certificate in Spanish/English translation. As a Ph.D. student, I have extensive experience in teaching and mentoring students, especially undergraduates. I also have years of tutoring experience, having tutored on and off since high school in subjects ranging from Spanish to chemistry.

My teaching methodology is to aid the students in developing the workflow and thinking process to approach a complex question systematically and break it down into smaller tasks that will eventually lead to the answer. I hope to help students develop their best learning style, which they can ultimately hone and use for the rest of their lives.
