About Christopher
At the university in the USA, I studied Creative Writing while studying Mathematics and Environmental Sciences. I lived in several states in the USA, knowing the different pronunciations and accents. I am married to a Brazilian woman and have lived in Brazil since 2017, when I started giving private lessons. My students have different objectives such as: conversation practice, preparation for job interviews or meetings and business events, study of vocabulary and specific topics in areas such as General and Environmental Sciences, Aviation, Sales, Politics, among others. As a teacher I share my experience and vision as a US citizen, in addition to, mainly, knowing and learning about the people and culture of Brazil, which is my great interest at the moment.

My teaching method varies depending on the needs and goals of each student. For example, if you are learning English for Business, our focus will be on business terminology and grammar. If you are learning English for travel, you can expect a conversation approach, including city tours and day-to-day activities. I believe that trust and well-being between student and teacher creates the best environment for learning a new language. Especially when it comes to talking.
