About Sarah Marie
Born in Canada, my Colombian mother taught me Spanish from birth. I then furthered my proficiency in university, and through many visits to Colombia where I found immersion to be invaluable. Additionally, I am a nurse by trade, which has allowed me to develop my teaching abilities, as I often educate my patients in complex subjects, in other languages at times. During my nursing education I worked as a tutor for other nursing students at the post-secondary level, so I am familiar with various teaching modalities. We'll find what works best for your individual learning style!

Everyone is different, so we'll first discuss what you want out of our time together. We can simply chat to increase your comfortability with the language, as well as improve your vocabulary and pronunciation. This can be very useful for the practical use of the language in real-life settings. Or we can review homework you have, from beginner to advanced levels, in areas such as reading, writing, and translation between English and Spanish.
