About Khansaa
I am a native Arabic speaker certified and experienced in teaching “Arabic'' using the Noorani Qaida. Since 2020, I have been tutoring learners (5 to 17 years old) from different backgrounds (via Zoom and in-person), on advancing their Arabic skills (reading, speaking, and writing). My educational approach is to make lessons fun and engaging for learners by using crafts, arts, and storytelling techniques. To accommodate different learning styles I like to have discussions with the learners, watch videos together, and perform engaging online activities. In addition, I use tools like Kahoot and Blooket for quizzes to assess learners' levels.
I have a true passion for working with young learners on (a) learning to read/write/speak in Arabic, (b) Islamic studies using the "I Love Islam" textbook series, and (c) reading Arabic stories. I use the 17 Noorani Qaida lessons to teach the proper pronunciation of letters and words in Arabic. I usually begin with the Arabic alphabet until learners can read full sentences. I also teach how to recite from the Quran with the proper pronunciation and Tajweed in a short period of time.
I will work with you to make sure your children make the most out of our lesson(s). Some families tell me what they want their children to learn and some ask for an assessment lesson to see the most appropriate curriculum to start with. I currently have learners from all over the world and I am looking forward to helping your child learn how to read, write, and speak in Arabic.

I am certified in Noorani Qaida & a native Arabic speaker with a true passion working with young learners. I currently have learners from all over the world and I am looking forward to helping your child learn how to read, write, and speak in Arabic. I also teach how to recite from the Quran with the proper pronunciation and Tajweed in a short period of time.
Because everyone has a different need and learning style I offer 30, 45, and 60 minute sessions. In each session we start by reviewing what was learned the previous session, we actively engage learning the objective of the current session, then we end with a practice plan to follow until next session.
I have worked with different backgrounds and skills. I always make sure to keep the learners engaged with the material and use appropriate approaches to enforce what was learned.
