About Agnes
I’m a graduating senior who has always had a deep connection to the Armenian language and culture. I’ve completed every Armenian class available in my middle and high school, and I’ve taken additional college courses to deepen my understanding even more. I’ve also tutored kids in our church’s Armenian school, working with students ranging from complete beginners to proficient speakers, which has taught me how to support each learner at their own pace. Along with my friends, I helped create an Armenian club that now has over 200 members and has raised more than $10,000 for soldiers in Armenia. I’m also part of an Armenian dance group, which gives me another meaningful way to stay connected to our traditions. From the food to the music to the people, I genuinely love every part of my culture, and I’m excited to share that passion with others.
