About Mun Tak Ada
I want to teach Cantonese because it’s a living, spoken language with a rich history and a warmth that carries culture, humour and memory in every phrase—yet fewer people speak it today. Teaching feels like a small act of cultural preservation: I get to share not only tones and words but the traditions, expressions and local ways of thinking that Cantonese encodes. My mission is to open this beautiful language to learners from all backgrounds, helping them connect more deeply with the people and stories of Hong Kong, and to keep an important part of our heritage alive for future generations.
