About Huberta
I am a native Cantonese speaker born and raised in Hong Kong (or HOME Kong as we usually call her :) ).
I graduated from UofT, majoring in Linguistics. I am passionate about my mother tongue and language learning and therefore pursued a Master's degree in Speech Therapy back in Hong Kong.
I started teaching English-speaking children Cantonese as I started my master's degree. Their smiles as they successfully expressed themselves in Cantonese motivate me every time!
Currently, I am back and exploring Toronto again! Looking forward to sharing more about Cantonese with you!
