About Angel
I am a native Cantonese speaker from Hong Kong currently studying Biomedical Science at university in the UK. Having learnt Mandarin through systematic education from a young age, I am confident teaching both Cantonese and Mandarin. I am passionate about language learning and enjoy helping students build confidence in speaking and understanding Chinese.

My lessons focus on practical communication and helping students build confidence in speaking Cantonese and Mandarin. I usually start with common daily expressions such as greetings, self-introductions, and simple conversations. As students progress, I introduce more vocabulary, useful phrases, and real-life situations so they can naturally use the language in everyday communication.
Lessons are typically around 60 minutes, but they can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. During the lesson, we will practise pronunciation, tones, conversation, and listening skills. I also provide guidance on cultural context and natural ways of speaking.
I am a native Cantonese speaker from Hong Kong and have received systematic Mandarin education since kindergarten, allowing me to teach both languages clearly. My lessons are suitable for beginners or learners who want to improve their conversational Cantonese or Mandarin, including students, travellers, or anyone interested in Chinese language and culture.
