About Sarah
I have experience teaching classes to groups of up to 30 people both as individualized classes face-to-face and online. I have taught at a private language academy in South Wales, certified by the British Council teaching general English and IELTS preparatory courses for both teenagers and adults. We were able to successfully meet the expectations of a recent four-year British Council inspection in June this year and I received a good assessment from the inspectors about the methodology I use in my classes.

I am a native English teacher, originally from the South East of England. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages and a CELTA (2013) awarded by the University of Cambridge. I offer entertaining, personalized classes with an enthusiastic teacher (English, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish). My language learning experience allows me to advise my students on different techniques they can use to successfully learn languages. One of my main goals is to increase student motivation and help you gain confidence, as this will allow you to face future challenges, both socially and academically. In the first class, I will evaluate the level of the student to be able to determine the most appropriate course. During class, we will use various materials to work on four areas: speaking, listening, writing and grammar depending on the personal requirements of each student.
