About Yuchun
Hi, I'm Yuchun, a native Chinese speaker from Taiwan living in Italy. I earned an MSc in Service Systems Design from Aalborg University, Denmark, and have over seven years of international professional experience in Taiwan, Denmark, and Italy, primarily in customer experience, research, and intercultural communication.
Throughout my professional experience, I have conducted training activities, facilitated workshops, and collaborated with National Geographic to organize digital storytelling workshops for young people from diverse cultural backgrounds. These experiences have taught me to listen to people's needs, explain complex concepts gradually, and adapt my communication to different backgrounds.
I have also supported university students studying Chinese, both in Italy and Denmark, individually, helping them improve their conversation and oral expression. Having studied and worked in several countries, I understand the difficulties that can arise when learning to communicate in a foreign language, and I strive to support each student with patience, attention, and professionalism.

Have you been studying Chinese for a while, but when it comes to speaking, you struggle to organize what you want to say?
Would you like to use the vocabulary and structures you already know more naturally?
My goal is to help you transform what you've already studied into Chinese you can actually use. Lessons don't consist solely of free conversations: I prepare structured and personalized activities based on your level, your difficulties, and your goals.
A typical lesson may include:
- a short warm-up and review of the previous lesson;
- useful vocabulary and structures for organizing more complete responses;
- guided conversations and open-ended questions;
- descriptions of images, role-plays, and everyday situations;
- mock oral exams;
- corrections, personalized feedback, and a final summary.
I focus primarily on oral expression and comprehension, pronunciation, active use of vocabulary, and the ability to speak with greater fluency and confidence. Lessons are conducted primarily in Chinese, with support from English or Italian when necessary.
Upon request, I can also introduce traditional characters, the Mandarin spoken in Taiwan, and aspects of Taiwanese culture. The lessons are primarily aimed at university students and adults who already have basic knowledge and want to improve their conversation skills, prepare for an oral exam, or use what they've studied more confidently.
