About Saunghninyee
Hello! My name is Maria Yee and I am passionate about helping others learn Chinese. As a native speaker with experience supporting learners of different ages, I know how challenging a new language can feel at first. That’s why I enjoy creating lessons that are clear, practical, and encouraging. I want to teach because I believe language is not just about words—it’s also a bridge to culture, confidence, and new opportunities.

I teach in a way that makes learning Chinese simple, fun, and practical. I always adjust my lessons to fit each student; some prefer games, conversations, or role-plays, while others like more focus on grammar or writing. I believe practice is the key, so I encourage lots of speaking and real-life examples, while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and supportive.
